A̴N̴A̴N̴A̴S̴ does WAV

A̴N̴A̴N̴A̴S̴ is an experimental radio show that looks at the ills of our society through a humorous and erotic lens. Your hosts, Patty and HotDog*, whisper, yap and sing about the everyday and the extraordinary, embracing the psychological and the political, in an improvised way. A̴N̴A̴N̴A̴S̴ blends satire, confession, tainted observation, sound poetry and pure juicy voices. The pilot for the show was recorded at Lumpen Station in Biel/Bienne (CH) in July 2024.

They are joined by the Brussels based instrumental power folk duo SECTE, consisting of Gregory Duby, guitar (K-Branding, Jesus is My Son, Solah) and David.C, drums (Vitas Guerulaitis, Tat2noisact). SECTE offers melodies from here and abroad, mixed with their own arrangements, as if a Cairo radio station were constantly spitting out its hits from the other side of the ring.

* HotDog & Patty met in ‚Da Susanna‘ and both went for the last veggie burger available. Patty got it, because she uttered a word they both have forgotten by now. When HotDog drooled over the mayonnaise on his French fries, the pact was sealed. Their voices had met. They spotted two microphones which shot out of the tiles under the table like mushrooms, lay down on a green carpet and started recording.
