music for hiccups

music for hiccups is a duo composed of Brussels-based musicians Chiara Bacci and Nicola Lancerotti.
The improvised music they create centres around a continuous dialogue between modified voice and modular synthesisers. In their performances, the roles they playare intenionally left undefined: sometimes the voice can become an abstract disturbing sound, while modular synths can create melodic textures and often they are intertwined in a manner that blurs the lines between them.

ERD

Erd is the solo project of François Gaspard, pro-active musician from the Brussels’ independent electronic scene and busy mind at the modular synthesiser company Shakmat. Combining a deep interest in sound design and rhythm, Erd explores the edges between bass music, half-time, techno, and experimental electronics.
His live performances and releases on Initiate Records reveal a personal and evolving approach to electronic music, where sharp rhythmic structures collide with deep, evolving textures.
