After starting his musical journey with techno and electro, where he steadily released digital EPs, The Orphanage Committee soon gravitated toward the more experimental side of music, drawing inspiration from the forgotten DIY experimental scene of the industrial eighties. He found a kindred spirit in the label EE Tapes, based in their shared hometown of Sint-Niklaas, and has been consistently releasing music through the label ever since. To date, he has two vinyl and three CD releases to his name. His abstract works always center around a defined concept, exploring themes like religion, nature, time, and the duality of good and evil. His vinyl releases encompass a range of styles, including experimental, ambient, field recordings, drone, noise, and post-industrial.

Like many in the Antwerp community, WAR and pixie connected through music at a beloved record shop called Warrecords. This place embodies a deep love for music, good times, and inclusivity. Over the years, these values have fostered a vibrant pony family that WAR and pixie are proud to represent. Together, they’ll deliver a vinyl set featuring a selection of dark mid-tempo grooves.
