Cèlia Tort Pujol

resident Bosacademie

Cèlia will have a residency in Het Bos in october together with Myrthe, Leonie, Roma and Frederik. On October 16 this group will share a work in progress in the Theatre of Het Bos.

Where are you from and how does that affect your work?

I come from Vic, a small city 60km away from Barcelona, Catalunya. The Mediterranean culture is very present in my way of being and living, so when I work I am warm, touchy, expressive and close to people; also, I have the tendency to see the bright side of things.

What do you expect to learn from a residency in Bosacademie?

To see how a space that is linked to a city and a community in the way Bosacademie is influences the creative process of the residency.

When is your favourite time of day to create?

My favourite time to create is towards the end of the day. Although I always feel energised and ready to work, I tend to get a nice impulse by the late afternoon and night.
