Sheefy McFly - Baddies Only (release)
Cape St. Francis x From Boogie to Booty
After a year of hibernation, From Boogie To Booty and Cape St. Francis are joining forces to welcome Detroit’s Sheefy McFly to Het Bos on December 11th as a celebration for the release of Baddies Only.
The night is a tribute to real ghettotech and electro. Detroit In Effect play, alongside a mix of our residents including Jetti, MF Booty and Lil Lawaw.
Baddies Only is Sheefy’s first release outside the US. It carries his signature ghettotech sound and features vocals from DJ Mo’Betta, Bevlove, Lola Damone, Tiptonaires and Etherpussy.
Besides producing, Sheefy runs the Ghettotechtopia party series in Detroit. He has worked with Amp Fiddler on a release for Moodymann’s Mahogani Records, and has remixed and released for AUX88.
He is also a visual artist, painting colourful murals across Detroit inspired by the Motor City’s musical history. One of them, “Detroit Never Left”, is on the sleeve.
