Pass Me The Aux: songs that inspire your art
Gratis en live vertier in de Bosbar en digitaal vie We Are Various
Pass Me The Aux is a space to share, discover, and connect through music. Each session revolves around a theme. Everyone brings a few songs that fit, and together we build a collective playlist. We listen, we talk and we let the music open up conversations. No judgment, no pressure.
For this edition, Pass Me The Aux invites three artists to share the songs that inspire their art and reflect on how music shapes their creative process, emotions, and ideas. Through laid-back conversation, song snippets and interactive moments with the audience, the evening becomes a shared listening experience open to anyone who creates or simply loves music. The event ends with live performances from Priska and Jengman.
Jengman
Jengman is a Belgian pop artist with influences from alternative R&B, soul and jazz. He grew up in Antwerp in a home where music was always present. His father, a big fan of hip-hop and jazz, filled the house with sounds of Michael Jackson, D’Angelo, and Raphael Saadiq, artists who helped shape Jengman's feeling for rhythm, emotion, and storytelling. Jengman's music is a mix of alt-R&B, pop, soul, and cinematic production.
He writes about love, loss, doubt, desire, ambition, and everything in between. Stories based on his own experiences. His songs are the result of ambition, perseverance and a deep love for music.
Priska
Priska, also known as Baby P, is an artist who speaks through words. She has been writing poetry for nearly two years, a title that still feels new but deeply earned. Before embracing poetry, she was an amateur writer until poetry gave her voice more tenacity, emotion and authenticity.
She fell in love with poetry for its ability to transport people, to make stories feel personal, familiar, and lived in. The first time she shared her work and watched others see themselves in her words, she realized poetry was part of her purpose. Her writing lives on the thin line between the heart and the heartbreak. Before she is a poet, she is a lover and in most of her work, she bleeds onto the page.
Angel Madhvani
Angel Madhvani is a 20-year-old artist whose creative journey began at 16 through drag. Through this medium, he discovered a deep passion for costume design and performance art, developing his practice across a wide range of projects.
Everything he creates begins within himself, shaped by lived experiences and the emotions they carry. His work is deeply personal, unapologetically queer, and highly expressive. A celebration of identity, transformation, and self-expression.
