Quinton Barnes is a relentlessly ambitious Montreal-based artist exploring the edges of Canada's music scene. Since 2018, he's built a unique sound, writing, rapping, singing, producing, mixing, and mastering his own work across a prolific discography.
Inspired by Afropessimist thought and the work of economist Jacques Attali, alternative hip-hop artist Quinton Barnes became interested in noise and its function within the context of Black music. He hoped to situate noise within a context of Black cultural expression, fusing soul and gospel-inspired vocals with noise, pushing the limits of Black genres to their sonic brink. He partnered with composer Michael Cloud Duguay who curated an ensemble of experienced noise performers and free improvisers from Montreal: the Black Noise Ensemble. Together, they will present Barnes’ new ambitious project, Black Noise, whose material ranges from deconstructed acid funk to avant-garde post-rock and footwork.
Birame
Birame is een 19-jarige Gentse artiest met Senegalese roots. Zijn muziek beweegt zich tussen alternatieve pop, R&B en soulvolle elektronica, met invloeden van artiesten als Sampha, Solange en James Blake.
Voor Birame is muziek de brug tussen zijn queer identiteit en multiculturele roots. Met een mix van introspectie en storytelling verkent hij thema’s als identiteit en religie.

Celenges
With a promising and exciting range of talents, Brussels-born artist Celenges has been a staple name for years in the underground Belgian musical scene.
Born to Congolese-Belgian parents he early on was exposed to a range of music including artists like Janet Jackson, Aaliyah, Tshala Muana, Missy Elliott and Usher.
With a theatre and dance background next to his musical genius he has managed to distinguish himself as one of the most promising young artists of the new decade.
With a soft tenor voice that soars, dance moves to kill for and an unparalleled stage presence he is the epitome of the total package.
