Koo is Gizem Karaosmanoğlu.
Gizem is an İstanbul born, Antwerp based sound artist and experimental electronic musician.
Her digital compositions include a wide range of rhythms, frequencies and timbres. Through processing and manipulating various sounds and vocal samples, she transforms them into patterns of her own creation, which feature catchy, occasionally odd, dark and gloomy melodic lines. She always starts from certain feelings and her compositions always represent and correspond to emotional atmospheres. She produces and performs under the name KOO.
