ACASTA GNEISS (live)
experimental music producer and DJ based in Brussels. His recent compositions can be described as minimal explorations of day-to-day impressions and the emotions they evoke. Opting for a stripped-down approach that hints at a deeper, truer, sense of things. His sophomore album entitled “Everyday Pieces” will be released on Anterior Insula in the spring of 2023. He is the co-founder of Anterior Insula and resident DJ at Kiosk Radio.
Anterior Insula is a record label and radio show from Brussels, founded in 2020 focused on experimental and emotive music. The label is named after the anterior insular cortex which is believed to be responsible for emotional feelings; including romantic love, sadness, sexual arousal, disgust, empathy, sculptural beauty and hallucinogenic states. You can catch their monthly radio show on Kiosk Radio every first Tuesday of the month between 2 and 3pm.
