Erki De Vries, Pieter Huybrechts en Kris Delacourt komen in november in Het Bos werken aan hun project 'Curating Space'.
"The public in an installation, on stage in what seemt to be a workspace setting. Three performes make three worlds visible that touch each others boundaries and merge in a fascinating journey. A photographer, a musician and a scenographer manipulate each in its own artistic language the space surrounding the public.
The spectator will be confronted with a myarid of images showing changing and changeable spaces that expose and visualise in a fast tempo a city that desintigrates and becomes abstract - an inward movement that brings us through a mental space to the here and now on stage.
As a viewer you will be taken into spaces that in their physical and projected form will keep on renewing itself. Noises emphasize the deep corridors, open spaces or small alleys that become visible.
Projected pictures of cities (Istanbul, Berlin, Rotterdam and London) merge with the constructed spaces on stage.
The photographer will frame new images with a delay deffect, the physical space and the light interact with the projected images, they rearrange the reality, they change and adapt, at times very familiar and then abstract again."
